CrossCurrent Games ("CrossCurrent Games," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, in connection with our game Trapped in Time and this website (together, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

Gameplay and app data. In-game progress, settings, and interactions with the app (for example, levels completed or features used), which we use to run and improve the game.
Device and technical data. Standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, language, and general usage/performance data (for example, crash reports), collected automatically to keep the app stable and secure.
Purchase information. If you make an in-app purchase, that transaction is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited transaction information with us (such as that a purchase was completed) for support and record keeping purposes.
Information you provide directly. If you email us for support, feedback, or press/business inquiries, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or address to play Trapped in Time.

To operate, maintain, and improve the game and this website
To diagnose and fix technical issues (crash reporting, performance monitoring)
To understand, in aggregate, how features are used, so we can improve them
To respond to support requests, feedback, and other inquiries you send us

3. Third-Party Services

We may use well established third party services to help us operate the Services. Examples include standard mobile analytics and crash reporting tools, and Apple's App Store for distribution and payment processing. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection obligations. We do not currently run third-party advertising in Trapped in Time.

4. Children's Privacy

Trapped in Time is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at developer@crosscurrentgames.com and we will promptly delete it.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Gameplay data tied to your device is generally retained for as long as you keep the app installed, or until you request deletion.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at developer@crosscurrentgames.com and we will respond as required by applicable law (including, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA). You can also delete the app at any time to stop any further collection of gameplay data.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Users

If you access the Services from outside the country where our service providers operate, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a different country. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
